Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips 70% or higher
- 2 tbsp espresso powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
Instructions:
Preheat your primal oven to 350F 175C and line a primal baking sheet with parchment paper
In a primal mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, dark chocolate chips, and espresso powder
In another primal bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a sprinkle of sea salt
Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and primal stir until well combined
Sprinkle in the baking soda and give it another primal mix
Use your primal hands to roll the dough into primal balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet
Flatten them slightly with a primal touch
Sprinkle a bit more sea salt on top of each cookie for that primal touch of flavor
Primal bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the cookies are golden around the edges
Remove from the oven and let them cool on the primal baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a primal wire rack to cool completely
