A rich and creamy side dish made by slowly cooking soft corn kernels with cream cheese and butter.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups frozen corn kernels
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Put everything in a slow cooker and mix them together
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, stirring every now and then, until the butter and cream cheese melt and the mixture is smooth
If you want, you can change the seasonings afterward and serve hot
