Its easy and quick to make these Personal Pita Pizzas when you want pizza. Because they are customizable, you can make your own treat by adding your favorite toppings.
Ingredients:
- 2 small whole wheat pita breads
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Start by heating the oven to 400F 200C
Lay the pitas out on a baking sheet
Cover every pita bread with pizza sauce
The sauce should have mozzarella cheese on top of it
On top of the cheese, put black olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, and pepperoni
Salt, pepper, and dried oregano can be used to season the food
Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles
Take it out of the oven, let it cool a bit, and then cut it into wedges
