German Pancakes with Buttermilk Syrup

Group Sex Party Norwalk

German pancakes are a simple and tasty way to start the day. They get really puffy in the oven, and the buttermilk syrup that comes with them is just the right amount of sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • For Buttermilk Syrup:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C

In a blender, combine flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and salt

Blend until smooth

Place the 1/4 cup of butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and melt it in the preheated oven

Once the butter is melted, pour the batter over it in the baking dish

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and puffy

While the pancake is baking, prepare the buttermilk syrup

In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of butter, buttermilk, granulated sugar, and baking soda

Bring to a boil while stirring constantly

Reduce heat and simmer for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract

When the German pancake is done, remove it from the oven and serve it immediately with the warm buttermilk syrup drizzled over the top
